It attempts to explore how the impact varies among targeted athletes of various background variables. The study is conducted by means of a convenience sampling of tennis players from the 2015 National High School Athletic Games of Taiwan, R.O.C. A total of 230 questionnaires were deployed, and 213 questionnaires were returned, the returned percentage being 92.61%. The obtained data were examined by descriptive statistics, independent-sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The results are as follows: 1. Male players constitute the majority of junior tennis athletes; most athletes have 4 (and/or more) years of experience in playing tennis; numbers of athletes are evenly distributed in various age groups; the common frequency of training is 5 (and/or more) times or days a week, 2-3 hours per training session; the intensity of training is ‘somewhat exhausting’. 2. Differences are significant among different age groups regarding perfectionism in “care about errors”, “parents’ expectations”, and “parents’ blames”. 3. Trait anxiety is significant in players of different genders and age groups. 4. Emotional/physical burnout is significant in players with different years of playing experience; different lengths of training session time and different intensity of training session reach significant in burnout of “lowering sense of achievement”. 5. Junior tennis athletes’ perfectionism in “parent’s expectations” and “doubts about action” positively affects trait anxiety; perfectionism in “parents’ blame” and “doubts about action” positively affects burnout, while “personal standard” negatively affects burnout; trait anxiety positively affects burnout. Finally, according to the study results, put forward a suggestions.
