碩士 === 朝陽科技大學 === 資訊管理系 === 103 === Air pollution has been the important issue concerned by people all over the world. The waste gas emitted by industries is the most serious problem. Besides, the waste gas emitted by fuel-using cars and scooters is also a disturbing problem in our daily life. In the modern city, many people go out by cars or scooters; as a result, the prosperous city must cause a large amount of waste gas. This is the main source of air pollution in our daily life, which can’t be improved immediately. This thesis was to invent a waste-gas filter for automobiles and scooters. The filter used zeolite to adsorb substances in the waste gas in order to reduce the pollution caused by the harmful substances. This waste-gas filter was set up on the exhaust pipe. The filter can not only filtrate various waste gas but also save costs because the zeolite inside the filter can be reused, which contributes to environment protection. The automobile and scooter waste-gas filter was once awarded “Gold Medal” and “Special Award” in the 2014 Seoul International Invention Fair. It is hoped that the device can be produced on large scale after it is fully developed and can be used by the public.
