Enterprises have to facilitate innovative ideas in order to maximize revenue especially during economic turmoil. The overall expense of the firm has become the determining factor to calculate whether a business is profitable or not. Redining standard work time may contribute to the overall quotation of decision-support system, and directly affect the profit of a company. The standard formula to calculate the total cost is: Total Costs = Material Costs + Labor Costs + Manufacturing Costs It is essential to keep in mind that labor costs accounts for the highest expense. Therefore, it is significant to define standard work time in order to drastically reduce expense which will result in higher marginal profit. This research is based on a case provided by RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) manufacturer. The key component is the E-Unit (Inlet), a semi-finished part of the wire bounding process. We analyzed the production data which were collected from the Shop Floor Tracking System (SFT). Then we sorted the information we collected into the following groups: physical properties of elements, the manufacturing process and personal information of the administrator. A Linear Regression Analysis model was built to verify existing standard work time. It also can be a foundation for setting up a new set of standardized work time in the future. This research can also be a model for other department, such as: manufacturing department in employees and product lines management. In conclusion, the outcome of the research will be gradually incorporated into the entire RFID process of our firm to ensure that the necessary adjustments are performed in a timely manner.
