In this paper, we propose a cloud environment monitoring system based on internet MQTT communication protocol. The objective is to monitor the environment, access the environmental information by sensors. If a precursor of a disaster is determined (or a disaster has occurred), the information will be immediately broadcasted via the Internet to the relevant personnel to exclude the disaster. Our study is implemented on Raspberry Pi platform. A variety of environmental sensors transmit information to the Raspberry Pi platform.
