Summary: | 碩士 === 健行科技大學 === 國際企業經營系碩士班 === 103 === In this study, the administration managers and general teachers in Taoyuan County Elementary School were studied to discuss the relationship between the principal’s strategic leadership and the school competitiveness. Data were collected by stratified sampling method via questionnaire. The total of 282 questionnaires were issued, and the valid response rate is around 93.26% (263 of 282 is returned). The questionnaire data was analyzed with SPSS18.0 software,the results found that:
1.There is a higher identification to the strategic leadership applied by Taoyuan County elementary school principal among the teachers. Strategy execution domain gets the highest perception, and the vision shape gets the lowest.
2.There is a higher identification to the school competitiveness among teachers. School expressional domain gets the highest perception, and teacher expressional domain gets the lowest.
3.In the perception of principal strategic leadership , male, over 21(including 21) years’ service, the current position is principal, teacher or director gets the highest among teachers.
4. In the perception of school competitiveness, male, over 21 (including 21) years’ service, the current position is principal, teacher or director gets the highest among teachers.
5. It showed statistically significant positive correlation between principal strategic leadership and the school competitiveness. Those schools with better principal strategic leadership would have more strong school competitiveness.
6. Taoyuan County elementary school principals’ overall strategic leadership and policy control can effectively explain school competitiveness.
