Taiwan''s greenhouse gas emissions in the residential and commercial section showing a rising trend, household electrical equipment to air conditioning systems consume a great use of electricity. How to save energy and therefore the effectiveness of the air conditioning system is very important issue. Based on September 2011 to December 2013 household electricity measured data, we use air conditioning for exogenous factors, such as temperature and rainfall, etc., to explore the use of air conditioning and power consumption situations. The subjects were willing to join Taiwan''s counties measured by household electricity users, using real-time power monitoring system, home users to collect air-conditioning power consumption data, the actual measurement data, the use of appropriate empirical model to investigate the air-conditioning electricity for income, population, location, temperature, rainfall and other conditions of the relationship. The results show that the proceeds of the Family’s Income, family size, the average monthly rainfall for not significantly affect the energy consumption, the monthly average temperature for the air-conditioning power consumption is very significant impact, particularly in the summer, most significant; while the impact of the region significantly, compared with the north-conditioned southern average monthly electricity consumption is low, and therefore the energy-saving mode and made recommendations as a follow-up to the Taiwanese government to save energy.
