As our time is more and more closely integration with various information , management of a vast number of electronic forms becomes inevitable. And the problem of eletronize a large number of paper forms without paying too high a cost is one of the major challenges to any enterprise. Besides , when we develop an new electronic form to meet a certain request , cost can increase drastically if we do not have made a detailed enough consideration. Thus how to cut down the cost of developing an electronic form is selected as the goal of the present research. By using the SharePoint platform , we can have a web based platform that can store and manage electronic forms. By integrating SharePoint platform with other system and extending SharePoint platform , an enterprise can establish a platform that can meet the need of vrious devices. In theis research , we will deploy SharePoint Server and SQL Server 2012 on different servers. We will use Microsoft SQL Server 2012 , web services and JavaScript to customize our electronic forms. In thebeginning , we will develop an electroniv form on SharePoint Server with all the needed fileds and properties. Then, by using JavaScript customization , we can query all the needed data stored inside SQL Server by calling the web services that we developed and stored under SharePoint Server’s file system. Through this process , we can automatically pull data from SQL Server and have the data filled into our form. Once we have completed our design of a base form template , we can extend the base formtemplate according to user’s request and generate a new electronic form.
