The pattern can show its special emotion and image and can also diversify creativity. Floral pattern is a common subject for creation in ancient and modern times. Traditional floral pattern combines the style of western regions and different dynasties, it features diversified subject, magnificent style and active wishes. It is the art for representing history and life style. The culture of floral pattern is worthy of preservation for all of people. There are three research purposes for this study. Firstly, floral pattern transforms traditional implication and style into people’s preference nowadays. Secondly, diversified printing can be used in daily commodities. Lastly, the case studies which have traditional, modern, simple and diversified style combined with floral patterns. This study expect to achieve value-added application for traditional culture through the design and preserve the wonderful culture connotation of Chinese traditional floral pattern.
