Description
Summary:碩士 === 中原大學 === 化學研究所 === 103 === Two low molecular weight hydrogelators have been developed by us. These two hydrogelators are the glycolipids that consist of glucosamine, tethering the (2S,3S)-2,3-dihydroxydecanoyl acid and (2R,3R)-2,3- dihydroxy tetradecanoyl acid, respectively.(S10 and R14). Among these two compounds, S10 a reversible gelator exhibits the stimulus-responsive ability at pH 3.0-5.0. The asymmetric synthese of these two dihydroxyalkanoyl acids have been accomplished by using chiral-pool method strategy. Herein, D-ribose is used as the starting material to synthesize these two optically active dihydroxyalkanoyl acids that configurations are mirro image each other at the same time.
