The researching company in this thesis is the head of the semiconductor industry in these years and it is outstanding especially in intense competition among all companies including Samsung. In order to improve its production competition to get more orders of smart products, this company not only researches and develops more accurate manufacturing technology, but also increases fabrication plants. The conclusion reveals that a case study of the researching company striving for “economies of scale”means that they would get non- economies of scale other than cost advantage. The researching company uses a “focused differentiation strategy” to gain competitive advantage as well as make high profit. Also, the researching company has a high relative market share and is based in high-growth industries defined as “stars” in the matrix of SBUs. Furthermore, to ensure that the company remains a premier provider of its existing products in ten years’ time, in addition to core competence established, it was going to have to build close partner relationship with customers, and develop niches by product for sustainable competitive advantage.
