碩士 === 中原大學 === 工業與系統工程研究所 === 103 === Due to several medical accidents breaking out, patient safety is getting more emphasis in Taiwan. There are more and more hospitals understanding the importance about ergonomics in improving patient safety. The purpose of this research is to provide the advanced ergonomics knowledge to hospitals and to reduce the risk of human error in hospitals. The cases are from Taiwan Joint Commission on Hospital Accreditation (TJCHA) collected from hospitals. Take improving medication safety, ensuring infection control and improving operations safety as examples of the goals of patient safety to do research. The cases are reorganized by the domains of ergonomics. They are graded by the level how they approach ergonomics, and be quantified to do statistical analysis. The suggestions are given by ergonomics expert. The results can be the learning cases using in medicine in future.
