The problems encountered nowadays including the descent of stage with the application of loading, and the lack of resolution was improved by using the features of worm and worm gear. We refer to the elevation mechanism with worm and worn gear as the concepts of design for the new stage. The models of the new stage was created using computer-aided design software, and the specification was validated through the pervasive ones in the market. Besides the pervasive specification which are the parallelism, dynamic parallelism and dynamic straightness, the new characterization measurements added for the new stage were displacement and resolution,. The measuring results agree well with the specification. Some errors relating to the displacement can be improved by increasing the rigidity of the frame.
