Study of the operators to Taiwan salon industry and JAPAN SPC philosophy affect-As a sample in Taiwan SPC member

碩士 === 建國科技大學 === 美容科技研究所 === 103 === This study aimed at discussing the influences of SPC’s Three-Core Philosophy on SPC Taiwan’s hairdressing managers’ operation philosophy. The goals of this study include to analyze the operational and managerial difficulties encountered by hairdressing managers in SPC Taiwan before and after joining SPC, and to discuss SPC Taiwan’s hairdressing managers’ social responsibilities in making contributions to environment conservation after successfully developing their businesses. This study using “qualitative method” as the research method, the study conducted in-depth interviews with six research objects, including four SPC Taiwan’s hairdressing managers and two SPC Japan’s hairdressing managers, with semi-structured interview. The interview results were organized, analyzed and summarized with factors in relation to the application of SPC’s Three-Core Philosophy to the operation of SPC Taiwan’s hairdressing businesses, and were discussed in three dimensions, including “The Corporate Function – SPC Three-Core Philosophy and the Core Value”, “The Managerial Function - SPC Three-Core Philosophy and the Core Value”, and “Methods used by SPC Taiwan’s Hairdressing Managers to Contribute to the Society and Carry Out Earth Environment Conservation”. Conclusions were given according to the above research results. By utilizing Three-Core philosophy, SPC Taiwan’s hairdressing managers provided a bright and active corporate image to consumers and, at the same time, by gathering and sharing the most updated hair-cut, perm and coloring knowledge and skills managers were also able to lead the fashionable trend. As for human resource management, the four-shift management in Three-Core philosophy helped managers to effectively manage human resource allocation, and the use of interior advancement in “body”, “heart”, and “core”, employees were encouraged to truly carry out and achieve the operational goal. Three-Core Philosophy’s earth environment conservation idea also helped SPC Taiwan’s hairdressing managers with extra care while providing hair dressing and cosmetics products to consumers. Therefore, with the conclusions we are able to understand that SPC Taiwan’s hairdressing managers, by applying Three-Core Philosophy in the business management, were able to solve operational difficulties and lead the business to achieve good development.
