Summary: | 碩士 === 中央警察大學 === 消防科學研究所 === 103 === This research investigates that the impact of the FDS simulation of the different sprinkling conditions on fire environment as the fixed fire fighting system is installed in the highway tunnel, espcailly for the strategy and methods for emergency. Researches and experiments in the past mainly focus on the impact of sprinkling on temperature and smoke layer. In contrast, this research will evaluate the various tenable environments and their rescue results, through understanding smoke flow and fire smoke environment at different wind velocity and sprinkling setting.
In addition, the coordination of sprinkling simulation and emergency response in fire scenario is also critical issue with regards to tunnel safety strategy and management. This research provides a suggestion for the goal of human and tunnel safety and management on the basis of the simulation results and the comparison between the past sprinkling and emergency responses in Japan and the future sprinkling equipment and emergency response strategy in Taiwan.
The result of simulation demonstrates that when the longitudinal ventilation velocity is high, it will be effective to reduce overall temperature and radiant heat inside the tunnel. In the simulation of this research, the longitudinal ventilation velocity in the heavy goods vehicle fire is 4.7m/s. If the longitudinal ventilation velocity is higher than this value, the safety for upstream asylum environment can be guaranteed and the time for the destruction of the tunnel construction can be postponed. The early action of the water spray system plus high longitudinal ventilation velocity would result in short visibility at downstream of fire source and thus jeopardize the evacuation of passers.
Furthermore, this research shows the statistics of the harm factor trends from various conditions, allowing other researchers to comprehend the impact of ventilation and sprinkling inside the tunnel, and thus helps select proper designs of sprinkling in the situation.
