Regardless of government and companies, all are actively seeking solutions to address the serious problem and find way out. The thesis focus on improve the efficiency of LCD Monitor. Beginning from the study of product specification and further analysis the applications of LCD monitor, then base on the result, a switching regulator with build-in adaptive control was proposed to improve the efficiency of LCD monitor system. The switching regulator build-in Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) and Pulse Frequency Modulation (PFM) which can operate at heavy load and light load, respectively. With the adaptive control, the DC/DC maximizes the efficiency of LCD monitor system under all applications. Compares with current LCD monitor system, the system adopt the DC/DC can save more power.
