Living quality has improved over the past generations and the requirements for standards of shelter have increased greatly. The same standards apply to dormitories. Other than providing basic function of economical accommodation, safety, and breathing space, dormitory is essential in achieving a higher educational goal as ‘live and learn’ is a very important part of college life. This can be achieved by having a well-designed dormitory. With the progression of information technology and the World Wide Web, internet connection is the key for students to connect to a world of knowledge and experience beyond campus living. The quality of internet connection and its service plays a critical role in whether a student can reach beyond their existing environments connecting to a greater world. Therefore, the purpose of the study is to understand the satisfactions of dormitory internet service among students. In the study, a questionnaire was deigned to survey the usage of internet, its purpose, background and level of satisfaction toward the internet service provided in the dormitory of Chun Hua University. This is to gain clarifications on the relevant factors which influence the attitude towards the service quality in order to provide constructive recommendations to improve network service quality which translate to better dormitory experience; both critical in increasing approval ratings of dormitory in addition to overall experience toward the university. The data compiled from the questionnaires indicated that both system quality and its service have direct impact on the satisfaction of students. The result points out in order to improve overall user experience in dormitory; these two factors need to be enhanced greatly in the near future whether planning a new dormitory or improving network system in existing dormitories. The study offers understanding in areas required for service improvement for overall user experience with the internet service to achieve better quality of dormitory living and superior college experience.
