Summary:碩士 === 中華大學 === 資訊管理學系碩士班 === 103 === The usage of computer and Internet has been gradually affecting the development of children’s personality, and it also impacts on the adaptation of their daily lives. The purpose of this study is to explore the Internet behavior, children’s personality, and life adjustment of the students between 10th and 12th grades. Questionnaires of Internet usage, children’s personality, and life adjustment are distributed to the aforementioned students. The conclusions are as follows: 1. There exist significant differences in the life adjustment in terms of “for what the Internet is used”, “in which place they get online”, and “who is accompanied with them while getting online”. 2. There exist significant differences among the background of elementary school students in Internet-using behavior, children’s personality, and life adjustment. 3. The children’s personality and life adjustment of elementary school students are significantly correlated and dependent on one another.
