Through the implementation of tourism to try to accomplish the sustainable development of lake area. The purpose of this study was to study the following aspects of the tourists in Hsinchu Emei lake scenic area. 1. Understand the current status of tourist background and characteristics. 2. Review the current status of the travel motivation, the satisfaction and revisiting willingness of the tourists. 3. Clarify the differentiation of 9the travel motivation, the satisfaction and revisiting willingness to different tourist characteristics. 4. Investigate the relationship among the travel motivation, the satisfaction and revisiting willingness of the tourists. The questionnaire was designed to collect the data from the tourists in Hsinchu Emei lake scenic area.By means of random sampling 248 copies were valid and analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA and Pearson,s correlation by SPSS for Windows 18.0.The findings summarized as following: 1. The travel motivation of the tourists was above middle. 2. The travel satisfaction of the tourists was above middle. 3. The travel revisiting willingness of the tourists was above middle. 4. The travel motivation of tourists existed significant difference with distinct age and education level. 5. The travel satisfaction of tourists existed significant difference with distinct age and education level. 6. The travel revisiting willingness of tourists existed significant difference with distinct age and education level. 7. The travel motivation and satisfaction of tourists appeared positive correlation. 8. The travel satisfaction and revisiting willingness of tourists appeared positive correlation. 9. The travel motivation and revisiting willingness of tourists appeared positive correlation. Finally, the study raised specific suggestions to the administration of Hsinchu Emei lake scenic area according to the above conclusions, and also offer potential investigation plan for the future researchers.
