Thus, the aim of this study is to stand on the perspective of core competency to analyze the technology sources, company asset portfolio associated with mergers and acquisition activities, and to analyze their impacts on the corporate level strategies, the business level tactics, and the functional level operations. This thesis employed a case study approach, studying the strategy executed in W Holding Group to understand the key success factors of M&;A. Research results showed that there are strategic advantages for W Holding Group in procurement funding, platform integration, purchase order sharing, and integration to the value-added resellers.
