Countries around the world began to promote the development of solar energy. Because of advanced semiconductor technology matures, the technology provides a very large contribution to the development of solar cells.
Current researches to enhance photoelectric conversion efficiency of solar cells as the main target of concern to all walks of life. However, a solar power system can be divided into many sections, starting from the solar cell element to the module package, even to the back-end integration of power conversion systems. Also, there is a lot of research and room for development.
Research of this paper is divided into four parts. First, the concentrating research on solar modules. As the condenser cup of general will reflect part of the light, we use additional solar cells to absorb the reflected light. We apply them on the modules on market. Second, the use of laser drilling techniques in the production of the solar cell absorbing layer. We hope that by increasing the absorption areas can increase the overall photoelectric conversion efficiency. Third, wafer bond study of solar cells, the solar cells of two different materials compressed into one element, and the use of the composite structure to absorb more energy. Fourth, put silver nano particles on the solar cell. The use of silver nano particles to increase the light absorption of the solar cell.
