碩士 === 長庚大學 === 工商管理學系 === 103 === In this thesis, we study the stable condition of home care patient with ventilator with respect to the factors of age, disease type and change of ventilation modes using medical records. Three folds of investigation are implemented by the Chi-Square Test and Logistic Regression Analysis. The first part is to study the re-hospitalization of a home care patient with respect to patients' ages and change of ventilation modes. The second one is to study the re-hospitalization of a home care patient in terms of the type of disease and change of ventilation modes. The third part is to study the consequences of changing ventilation modes. Our major finding is that the male patients are unstable ventilator users no matter what the types of disease and ventilation modes are.
