Results from the analysis over the Cross-strait Service Trade Agreement are below
A.Social Welfare
The social welfare is increased for both Taiwan and Mainland China
B.Consumers in Taiwan
1.The quality will be raised. 2. Consumer surplus will be increased. 3. The utility is higher. 4. The total expenditure will be increased if the goods is elastic(Ed.>1)
C.The firms related to the Cross-strait Service Trade The pressure of competition will increase while the profit will decrease.
D.Goods related to the Cross-strait Service Trade Agreement
1. The quantity demanded of the subtitutes related to the Cross-strait Service Trade Agreement will be decreased and the price will be declined.
2. The quantity demanded of the complements related to the Cross-strait service Trade will be decreased and the price will be increased
E.Aggregate economies towards Taiwan
GDP、interest rate、employment and wage in Taiwan will distictively increase.
Suggestions to Taiwan Government
1. Pass the Cross-strait Service Trade Agreement as soon as possible
2. Think about offering assitant to the firms related with the Cross-strait Service Trade
3. Control the food、 travel and social security severely
Suggestions to firms in Taiwan
1. Keep innovation
2. Incooperate with firms in Mainland China
3. Decline the price of goods which is elastic
4. Promote the higher gross profit rate goods
