It is usually accompanied by appropriate background music to search book, for readers to have pleasant feelings about their reading experience. This research attempts to capture emotional text keywords from the Picture book and set up a database of emotional text keywords, based on Thayer’s 4-quadrature emotional model: exuberance, contentment, anxious, depression. Corresponding to music features such as: rhythm, timbre, harmony, volume, and so on, to find the emotion featured between text and music as the basis of our proposed computer algorithmic composition. This research use the proposed computer algorithmic composition method, using Markov Chain to control the probability of music features to compose music. Consulting to users’ advice, as the improvement criteria for that emotion music to search the book development in the future.
