The phase control circuit is an active circuit that is layout by commercial digital phase shift ICs and microcontrollers (MCU). The MCU can be rewritten and burn the program variably to enhance the integration and the flexibility of application in different conditions.
This thesis studies the use of the operator-interface of the Personal Computer (PC) to immediately control the direction of radiation beam with center frequency at 2.45GHz. The operator-interface and the command receiver program are designed for the MCU. In addition, a genetic algorithm is used to find the optimal solution for the radiation pattern and microstrip patch antenna array as the front antenna array.
On the application part of the thesis: First, the programmable antenna system is implemented to focus antenna radiation pattern in the near field and achieved an effect of multiple focus points. Second, the viewpoint of demodulation system and scanning wave beam is used to achieve the tracking functionality. Finally, the network successfully uses the control system to enhance the flexibility of its application.
