It is made up of a feeding antenna and many array elements. Unlike the reflective purposes of the array element in a reflective array antenna, those in a transmitting array antenna are used for transmissions. This thesis adopts the transmitting array antennas framework formed by the Huygens-Fresnel Principle and the Frequency Selective Surfaces theory.
