Summary:碩士 === 元智大學 === 通訊工程學系 === 102 === With the advancement of wireless communications, the usage development of directive antennas becomes necessary as well. The use of directive antennas is commonly seen in military, satellite industries, etc. The structure of the transmitting array antenna is similar to that of the reflective array antenna. It is made up of a feeding antenna and many array elements. Unlike the reflective purposes of the array element in a reflective array antenna, those in a transmitting array antenna are used for transmissions. This thesis adopts the transmitting array antennas framework formed by the Huygens-Fresnel Principle and the Frequency Selective Surfaces theory. It discusses the characteristics of transmissions of electromagnetic waves at a frequency of 5.8 GHz.
