Summary:碩士 === 元智大學 === 資訊管理學系 === 102 === In light of the concept of the global market and free trade, a severe competition exists in the domestic industries. To cope with the demand of globalization in this competitive era, suppliers and the supplied have started to weave intricate and inevitable connections. This is the time when the integration between the inside internal and outside external sources kicks in to upgrade the overall customer service quality and optimize best business performances. It is the procurement that plays a vital role in this scenario where businesses ought to manage well on things like raw materials, semi-finished products, accurate predictions of the supply and the demand, and the smooth flow of production lines. Thus, choosing the optimal suppliers is what matters the most for all enterprises. The process of assessing suppliers is rather complicated and takes certain procedures and steps. This study is based on Houshyar and Lyth’s work (1992) of a systematic supplier selection procedure. First, we gather and collect analytic data through literature reviews to establish a preliminary structure and some criteria. Then, we set a prototype structure after interviewing with experts. With the experts’ opinions, we apply the Delphi method to finalize the research structure. Once the completion of the overall structure is finished, we determine the weights on the criteria of supplier assessment. Lastly, some analyses and processing are carried out with the supplier selection strategy data. As for the calculation and rankings of the performance of suppliers, they are not the target of this study. Therefore, this study combines literature collection and analyses with the Delphi method (Delphi method) to establish an assessment pattern. Via the use of multiple criteria, one can consider the dependencies between the criteria and the role of suppliers. Finally, we utilize the ANP method to quantify the right dimensions and weight standards on a real case study.
