Volunteer Service Learning in Religious-Based Non-profit Organization--A case of Taiwan Soka Association

碩士 === 元智大學 === 社會暨政策科學學系 === 102 === This purpose of study was to investigate process of the volunteers participating service-learning in the religious-based non-profit organization. The aims are to find out the intentions of the volunteers participated in the service-learning, the content of service-learning, and growth after experienced service-learning. The qualitative research method was applied and data were collected from the in-depth interviews with 17 members in the Taiwan soka association and relavant literature. By induction and analysis, the results of the research were as the followings: 1.Taiwan Soka Association was promoted on the basis of one-on-one conversation. 2.The motivations of the members participated in service-learning are multiple, included to seek the meaning of life, to overcome difficulties, to agree with the idea of Taiwan Soka Association, and altruistic mission. 3.The contents of service-learning in the Taiwan Soka Association was rich, included structured and organizational courses, to gain more experience by participating activities, learning in interpersonal, learning by observation, and learning by self-review. 4.To participate activities in the Taiwan Soka Association brings positive effects, included growth of personal concept ,attitude, knowledge and capability, and change in life. 5.Daily life was affected easily by participated in service-learning. Finally, the results of the study provided the suggestions for non-profit organization, Taiwan soka association, and subsequent researchers.
