On the one hand, the constraint and allocation of police resources depends on the extent of which the administrative locations are urbanized, and on the other hand, depends on how much resource the police authorities have. The police authorities mainly provide two kinds of public services: public security and traffic control. This study argues that the urbanization of administrative locations and the allocation of the police resources will moderate the relation between the satisfaction with public services (public security and traffic control) and the performance of police authorities. This study collected the data of citizens' satisfaction in public services from 1,578 respondents through the questionnaire survey of Taoyuan County and obtained the data of service performance of Taoyuan police from Taiwan police authorities. The results show that the higher satisfaction with public security and traffic control the citizens express, and the better service performance the police obtain. Neither the urbanization of administrative locations nor the allocation of the police resources shows significant moderating impact on the relation between the service of public security and police service performance whereas both moderate the relation between the service of traffic control and police service performance..
