Summary:碩士 === 元智大學 === 管理碩士在職專班 === 102 === LED application generally can be divided into two main parts, one is backlight LED application, the other one is LED lighting application, it is very usual to find out backlight LED finished products like LED TV, smart phone, tablet...etc, we have been moving forward from CCFL to the next generation of LED that LED finished products makers can design and produce much lighter, thinner, shorter and smaller. However. backlight LED has already been to the top, owing to enhancement of LED brightness and technique, it makes the all finished products use less LED in every single finished products resulting in backlight LED sales smooth. For the recent years, incandescent lamp has been gradually prohibited to use around the world, surely, it also includes Taiwan and Mainland China which uses the biggest number of LED, just because LED lighting hasn't been that popular, every company has immeasurable imagination to LED lighting market. Hence, chip makers, package house, and finished product makers is starting strategic alliance, mergers and acquisitions, vertical integration and mutual investment, we can learn from the arrangement that LED business is not only buy-and-sell but it has been to another business strategic level to find out self-competitive advantages and target the goal of lighting market and selling channels. The study discussed the creation of values for vertical integration from indicators of business strategies, and identified suitable structure of competitive advantages for sustainable operation and long-term vertical integration for companies.
