ABSTRACT
This study aims to investigate the relationships among job rotation, job satisfaction and job performance of elementary school teachers. There are three main purposes of this study. First, to explore the differences on job rotation of elementary school teachers with different background variables. Second, to inquire the correlationships among elementary school teachers’job rotation, job satistacation and job performance. Third, to explore if the mediation effects where job satisfaction effects on job rotation and job performance.
The participants of this research were elementary school teachers in Taoyuan County.The instrument of the survey was Questionnaire of Correlations among Job Rotation, Job Satisfaction and Job Performance. With randon sampling, a total of 300 questionnaires were distributed to 22 elementary schools, and 281 questionnaires were retrieved. The percentage of the valid questionnaires was 93.67%. The statistic methods included t-test, one-way ANOVA and regression analysis …., etc.The results of this study are as follows:
1. Elementary school teachers with different background variables in terms of position or education level differed in recognition of rotation significantly.
2. Elementary school teachers with different background variables in terms of age, seniority, position, education level differed in rotation intention significantly.
3. Job rotation has obvious positive influences on job satisfaction.
4. Job rotation has obvious positive influences on job performance.
5. Job satisfaction has obvious positive influences on job performance.
6. Job satisfaction has mediation effects on rotation perception and job performance.
