Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 漢學資料整理研究所碩士班 === 102 === The Tang Dynasty is the golden age of Chinese Poetry, which has achieved an insurmountable pinnacle since the age of “ the Book of Songs”. After the Tang Dynasty, Chinese Poetry is still changing and developing, but its success could not hide the aura of Tang Poetry. Tang Poetry’s charm even attracted the attention of American Sinological academia. The praiseworthy scholar of Chinese Studies in America, James J.Y. Liu, studied Chinese classic poetry and poetics in Western Universities, and created a fusion of Chinese and Western poetic theory to elucidate Chinese Poetic academic path. Although Liu was good at Chinese Poetics, he had received scant scholarly treatment in Taiwan. This thesis is focus on the Liu’s studies of Li Shang-yin’s poetry and tries to present more results of Chinese studies. Therefore, the purpose of this thesis is to explore his studies of Li Shang-yin’s poetry. Moreover, this article provides scholars in Taiwan a new field of vision for the study of Li Shang-yin’s poetry, and shows possible future research directions.
