碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 企業管理系碩士班 === 102 === In 1980s, United States (U.S.) government began to implement industry-academic cooperation policy, offered substantial motivations to encourage inseverable consociation between enterprises and universities. Nowadays, U.S. has become a benchmark of industry-academic cooperation in the world. Following U.S. pattern, Taiwan has performed industry-academic cooperation policy for many years. However, previous literatures regarding the comparison about the industry-academic cooperation performance between Taiwan and U.S.were rare, this study fills the gap by means of executing an empirical study which explores the difference of industry-academic cooperation performance for these two countries. Besides, this research executes a comparative analysis which compares different type (attribute) of university in Taiwan. These conclusions can offer further insights or suggestions for current educational or industrial policy.
