In this study, simulated incense contamination test specimen, at the height of incense contamination points: the upper (350 cm), middle (170 cm), lower (60 cm), three were carried out using sandalwood and incense experiments. The experimental results show that incense contamination color from dark to light in order: middle, lower and upper. Observed with an optical microscope, the test piece is placed at the lower, more incense contamination particles attached to a larger number, and there is ash plant fibers, complicated with numerous cracks present on the test piece. Gas chromatography mass spectrometry have 64 kinds of compounds are alkanes, aldehydes, ketones, phenols, ethers, esters, acids, acyl amines, furans, benzene derivatives and heterocyclic compounds. Incense contamination according to the analysis results can be divided roughly into two categories: the degradation factor and fineness factor. The main degradation factor is an acidic substance; coupler contains melanoidins factor molecule comprising an imidazole, pyrrole, pyridine and the like heterocyclic compounds. Scientific analysis of the measured results are displayed seized at different heights will contain different concentrations of the compounds and different species, the test results set out to follow the clean area, the deployment of a cleaning solvent for the cleaning area. On the choice of solvent, in addition to whether to effectively dissolved substances, while not affecting other substances outside the adjacent and coexistence, but also consider test interoperability, safety and environmental and other factors.
