Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 建築與室內設計系 === 102 === There are many preservation cases of historical architecture in Taiwan where have changed the way to be preserved as antique style of repairmen. The spindle is to conjunct architecture and local development in the new use of mechanisms, not only to continue the life of the buildings, but also to find a new meaning for them. From creating new economic value and the transformation process has become an important way of cultural preservation. It is well known that Kinmen area has most completed preserved Taiwanese settlement and community architecture, but following the situation people move out, Industrial structure has been decreased the society value. Therefore, many traditional building has been destroyed and lost its social value and actual use. Until 1995 Kinmen national park have been established, traditional settlement and community buildings started being taken seriously. Traditional architecture now has been transformed into home stay and became a popular topic, but some of them built for many years, there are different and conflict on the usage of space between traditional settlement and home stay. The research is to find the way about spatial design on preservation and management of the requirement on home stay, also taking into consideration the relevant provisions of the existing regulations. Kinmen totally has 168 traditional village settlements. Because of its special historical background geographic and environmental conditions, the type of building retains many traditional houses in the spatial organization and architectural form with highly homogeneity. It is conducive to discussion and documenting traditional houses space. This thesis would investigate seven Shuitou settlements about “traditional architecture transform into home stay usage. “Qualitative analysis of in-depth understanding of the practical ways of building space usage, interviews and questionnaires for operators, tourist passengers, relative to the old house atmosphere preserved space design re-use after renovation, the degree of design elements equipment needs to interact with the home stay update practical problems. Also, it will use the concept about the “Degrees of intervention“ , in order to analyze the historical architecture space. The research found that degrees of intervention related to the historical atmosphere satisfaction; if degrees of intervention are lower, costumers are more satisfied (level 1-2). Usually, satisfied operator requires higher level of degrees of intervention (level 3-4) in case of increasing function and equipments, and it causes the historical atmosphere satisfaction lower. The conclusion would think that ‘remaining original preservation’ is more attractive than ‘changing structure for user need’. Traditional architecture transform into home stay is not only aim to residents need, but also satisfy costumers’ usage requirements and the imagination of traditional culture behind its mental meaning. Also, it is about how to continue transformed traditional settlement of original architecture life from design situation and historical to new texture transformation.
