Summary: | 碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 工業工程與管理系 === 102 === This research examines the correlation between work “value gaps” and work “attitudes” of clinical nurses. A questionnaire has been designed that has four measurement tools: Work Value, Job Satisfaction, Organizational Commitment and Turnover Intention.The subjects are clinical nurses with more than one month work experience at a teaching hospital in Central Taiwan.Of the 610 returned questionnaires, 574 were accepted as valid giving a 94.1% rate. The results show the following: 1) the “Altruism” value gap was the largest, while “professional autonomy” and “professional development” showed the smallest value gap among the work values, 2) those nurses over 50 years old had the largest value gap for “professional autonomy” and the value reached the significant level, 3) there is a significant negative correlation between the work value gap and “job satisfaction” and “organizational commitment, 4) there is a significant positive correlation between the work value gap and “turnover intention, 5) there is a significant positive correlation between “job satisfaction” and organizational commitment”; and a significant negative correlation between “job satisfaction” and “turnover intention,” and 6) there is a significant negative correlation between “organizational commitment” and “turnover intention.”
