Summary: | 碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 工業工程與管理系 === 102 === Due to highly competitive environment and globalization, more companies rely on resources outside and have to build cooperation relationships with other firms via supply chain. The collaborative relationships with other firms become more important in supply chain relationship quality (SCRQ). Su et al. (2008) found that SCRQ has a significant positive effect on cooperative strategy. In addition, more and more companies rely on external resources which reduce the visibility of the supply chain. Recently, several the product quality risk events show that the supply chain visibility becomes an important issue. Therefore, this research studies the impact of SCRQ on cooperative strategy and supply chain visibility.
Questionnaire with Likert 7-point scale is designed for the subjects of rice and noodle manufacturers. The effective return rate is 38.23%. Descriptive statistics was used to describe the basic information of manufactures and their attitudes on questionnaire contents. The Kruskal-Wallis test is used to examine the differences between varies biographies of manufacturers. The Spearman rank correlation was used to analyze the association between SCRQ, cooperative strategy and supply chain visibility.
The results show that manufacturer have high agreement with their suppliers in the constructs of Trust, Adaptation, Communication and Cooperation. The average score in cooperative strategy show high scores for "Persistence and Frequency". This represents that manufacturers have a strong willingness to cooperate with suppliers. The average score in supply chain visibility is 4.9 which means the manufacturer agree that the supply chain visibility is high.
There is a positive relationship between SCRQ and supply chain visibility. Thus, if the SCRQ between manufacturer and supplier is higher, supply chain visibility will be better. The relationship between SCRQ, persistence and frequency are also significantly positive. Thus, if SCRQ between manufacturer and supplier is good, the manufacture has more willingness to maintain durable and frequent relationships with their supplier.
