Summary: | 碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 工業工程與管理系 === 102 === Semiconductor industry is crucial to Taiwan’s economic development. To sustain their competitive advantage in global markets, semiconductor operators must construct additional plants to mass produce products within a short period. Furthermore, in time-limited plant construction projects, whether shockproof machine bases, which influence production processes, are developed on time is critical. In this study, shockproof base installation procedures were improved based on a 3-stage approach. First, program evaluation and review technique (PERT) method was adopted to determine critical paths of a construction process. In this process, autonomous quality inspection points were added to reduce the defect rate of construction quality. Subsequently, a new installation procedure was established by determining the critical paths of the construction process in which quality inspection point was added. The results indicated that compared with the unimproved procedure, which required a total construction time of 3336.7 minutes, the proposed improved installation procedure necessitated 2920.8 minutes, exhibiting a 12.5% reduction. Regarding the quality defect rate, the unimproved procedure yielded an average defect rate of 0.87 times per machine, which decreased by 69% to 0.27 times per machine when the improved procedure was employed. Consequently, the improved procedure can be applied to install actual shockproof machine bases.
