Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立陽明大學 === 醫學工程研究所 === 102 === Due to the improvement and perfection of Health Insurance in Taiwan, the hospital's outpatient clinic rate increases dramatically. Especially, the copayment system for the National Health Insurance, the affording cost between clinic and hospital is not obviously, so that many outpatients centralize in large hospitals and make them crowded than ever. As the consulting time to accept a doctor's visit is short, the remaining time was mostly spent on waiting for checkups that often lasts for several hours. In this study, we propose an optimal hospital examination scheduling by Nearest Neighbor Algorithm and deploys the software on a smartphone to help outpatients to complete their examinations in a shorter time. The information shown on a smartphone includes outpatients’ information (department, time, location, appointment number and doctor), current clinic progresses (visiting patient’s number and estimated remaining time) and examination scheduling (current progress of examination and location) and so on. Our system is able to offer an efficient guide for outpatients.
