The final sample included 340 physicians. Six case-scenarios were adopted to assess physicians’ self- reported practice. Additional questions were explored physician’s beliefs and factors for antibiotic prescribing. GEE model used. Total scores of the six case scenarios were sum up. The average score was 3.0/6.0 points .Only 6 physicians answered perfectly to all six case scenarios. 306 were pure over-prescribers. Some characteristics such as physician age, gender, having a child, medical school and patient volume are significantly associated with potentially inappropriate antibiotic prescribing.
