The study on the participatory motivation and benefit from the road running events for Gung-guan junior high school in Miao-li

碩士 === 育達科技大學 === 休閒事業管理系碩士班 === 102 === This research aimed to understand the participatory motivation and the participatory effect of road running events upon Kung-Kuan junior high school students in Miaoli. The research was conducted in the method of questionnaire survey, which consisted of three parts, including “psychological effect,” “physical effect,” and “interpersonal relationship.” The data were collected from March 10 to March 14, 2014, and the 360 out of 375 questionnaires were filled in by Kung-Kuan junior high school students. The software, SPSS for Windows 18.0, was utilized to analyze the data, and the analyses included descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffé method, and Pearson’s product-moment correlation. The research results were that (1) those effects were “psychological effect,” “physical effect,” and “interpersonal relationship” in sequence, (2) there were significant differences between the participatory motivation and the participatory effect with different populations, and (3) there was a significant positive correlation between the participatory motivation and the participatory effect. Finally, some suggestions for future researchers were proposed according to the results of this research.
