Summary: | 碩士 === 吳鳳科技大學 === 光機電暨材料研究所 === 102 === In this study, we prepare zinc oxide (ZnO) nanorods films on non-conducting substrate through non-vacuum process in low temperature. The ZnO seed layer is prepared on a substrate using sol-gels pin coating method followed by the deposition of columnar array of ZnO nanorods film deposited in aqueous solution. The main purpose of the present study is to investigate the effects of various manufacture parameters on the microstructure and surface morphology of the formed zinc oxide nanorods thin film. The experimental results show that the number of coating cycles, precursor additive, pharmaceutical standard concentration, and heat treatment at different temperatures will affect the flatness, uniformity and overall compactness of ZnO nanorods film.
The experimental results also reveal that when the number of coating cycle exceeds five times, the density of film morphology becomes standarized. In addition, the optimal growth condtion is found to be the precursor/stabilizer ratio is 1:1, the concentration of sol-gel is 0.5M, and the temperature for heat treatment is 300 ℃. The XRD analysis shows that the preferabe crystalline orientation for zinc oxide film is the (002) plane. In addition, the ZnO / GO nanocomposite film, a composite of ZnO nanorods film with addition of graphene, is found to be an excellent inhibitor for bacterial. The zinc oxide/GO nanocomposite on a non-conductive substrate is promising for future biomedical applications..
