In early times, metal products are mostly applied in industrial manufacture and productions; however, the demands of customers have changed gradually, metal products have been applied to our daily life more often than before, and the metal cabinet is not exception. The finishing processes for metal cabinet were relatively complicated early, which mostly are produced by mixed process of handwork and machines. These methods result in high costs in manpower, materials and time, so that the domestic metal cabinet processes encounter the technical difficulties of poor delicacy in pipe shaping and surface treatment of wielding, which also prevent the reduction of energy consumption and the innovation of new products. Traditional cabinet shaping mainly adopts welding to do forming, which fails to meet the demands of modern people. Thus, facing the industry impacts both at home and abroad, it is unable to response effectively and then lose its competitive advantages. This study develops an innovative metal cabinet processing technique and connector to solve the problems of technical difficulties in traditional metal cabinet processing and situations failing to meet the demands for convenience and diversifications. The proposed process mainly uses rolling technique to simplify the manufacturing procedures and reduce the costs in manpower, materials and time. It also employs fasteners link to link the rolled metal plates to improve the poor delicacy of surface treatment of welding and solve the problem of unable being to be diversified after being processed. We expect that this proposed process can reduce the energy consumption and meet the society’s demands for spatiality, convenience and diversification, making its application multiple and gaining more competitive power in international markets. 碩士 === 吳鳳科技大學 === 光機電暨材料研究所 === 102 === Abstract
This study goes into the innovative process and analysis of metal cabinet, to ensure that cabinets meet people’s demands for spatiality, convenience and diversification in modern society, which make applications diversity.
