This study adopted two Questionnaire Surveies, and the research tools included “Scale of Participation Motivation” and “Scale of Training Satisfaction.” The study object was chosen from the junior high school track and field athletes randomly in Taiwan. 450 copies of questionnaire were distributed and 424 copies were valid returned. After retrieving questionnaires, the data were exploited SPSS For Windows12.0 Statistical Software Package to analyze, and the conclusions could be made as follows: (1) There are five factors for participation motivation. Health promotion was the highest factor, technical requirement, interpersonal demands, emotional adjustment, self-actualization. For the junior high school track and field athletes in Taiwan, health promotion and technical requirement is the most important. (2) The results of the analysis of variance in different Training hours, different seniority,different sports achievement, and different competition results showed that there were significant differences for all factors of participation motivation. (3) There are five factors for training satisfaction. The literacy coach was the highest foctor, interaction between team interaction, training arrangements, field facilities, and academic performance. For the junior high school track and field athletes in Taiwan, the literacy coach is the most important. (4) The results of the analysis of variance in various personal background showed that there were significant differences for all factors of training satisfaction. (5) The overall participation motivation and overall training satisfaction have shown to be positively correlated with one another.
