The participants are elementary school physical education teachers in Taipei City.This study was presented with questionnaires and analyzed with SPSS Statistics 20.0. The valid samples were submitted to descriptive statistics, t-test, and ANOVA, for status survey, discrepancy analysis, and related study of organizational commitment and teaching efficiency. The results are as follows: First, theaspects ofthe organizational commitment of Taipei City elementary school physical education teachers are“Organizational identity”, “Willingness to exert effort”, and “Intention to stay”. Theimportance ranking of “Intention to stay” is significantly higher than the ranking of “Organizational identity” and “Willingness to exert effort”. Second, the five aspects of the teaching efficiency of Taipei City elementary school physical education teachers are“Preparing of teaching”, “Systematic material presenting”, “Teaching evaluation”, “Teaching strategies”, and “Class management”.“Class management” is the highest ranked, andthe following ones are “Preparing of teaching”, “Teaching evaluation”, and “Systematic material presenting”; the lowest ranked is “Teaching strategies”. Third, in the factor of the organizational commitmentof Taipei City elementary school physical education teachers, there are significant differences in the variables ofmarriage, academic background, years of experience in teaching, and teacher certification. Fourth, in the factor of the teaching efficiency of Taipei City elementary school physical education teachers, there are significant differences in the variables of gender, years of experience in teaching, teacher certification, and couch-or-not; but there is no significant difference in the variables of marriage, academic background, and current position. Fifth, organizational commitment and teaching efficiency are intermediate positive correlation.
