After confirming that “teaching Natural to be Intellectual” includes the three processes of “grasping the needs of students by following the nature of human being”, “to fulfill the potential of students by setting teacher’s models,” and “bringing up students to be Intellectual by emphasizing on practice” as disclosed in the book, I clarified and listed specific principles for each process, applied them to school context, and recorded my practical experience as well as reflection every day in my “work log.” While examining the practice of each principle, the book, "The Essence of Education," was reviewed repeatedly to confirm the theories and acquire more inspiration for practice. After reviewing my “work log” recorded during my service as a substitute teacher for visual art and the Deputy Head of Student Activity Section, Office of Student Affairs at a junior high school in Taipei form August, 2012 to July 2013, I found that I was inspired by "The Essence of Education” before my actual teaching experience at school and summarized principles. With the recording of “work log” and reflection, I further strengthen my belief in one’s autonomy. “One’s spiritual cultivation relies solely on oneself. It’s his right and duty. Do it or not, or the level of cultivation is entirely up to himself.” One can establish his life value only with “real practice and implementation,” “continuous hard work,” quitting bad habits in daily trivia and strengthening one’s will. And this fact that "as long as one’s mind changes, his attitudes change as well, and as attitudes change, actions change accordingly" further lead me to continue the principles in "The Essence of Education" and pursue "self-comparison." I believe that cultivation of oneself to attain achievement is the realization of God’s laws in the human world, which is also applying the endowments of “observing God’s laws and acting for God.” With this understanding and expectation, the study concludes with recommendations for teacher training institutes and new teachers. 萬家春博士 2014 學位論文 ; thesis zh-TW
