The influence of the background variables and the relationship among knowledge, attitude and behavior were also investigated and discussed. The study conducted questionnaires to samples of sophomore, junior and senior students in both University of Taipei and National Taipei University of Education. Results were statisticaly analyzed. The current status analysis shows that college students perform well on the knowledge of pollution of the marine environment. They show positive attitude toward the pollution of the marine environment. However, their behavior still needs to be improved. The analysis about the students’knowledge of pollution of the marine environment shows that students from School of Humanities perform better than those from School of Education, Mathematics/Science, and Kinesiology. Students from School of Arts perform better than those from School of Mathematics/ Science. Female students perform better than male students. Moreover, students who don’t live by the sea perform better than those who do. As for the college students’ attitude towards pollution of the marine environment, all the background variables don’t show significant difference. But the behavior analysis of pollution of the marine environment indicates that the students from School of Mathematics/ Science perform better than those from School of Education and Humanities, male students perform better than female students, and students who have taken related courses perform better than those who haven’t. The correlation between the knowledge and behavior of college students is modestly negative. Although students have relevant knowledge about the pollution of the marine environment, it doesn’t reflect on their behavior. The attitude and behavior of pollution of the marine environment is moderately positively related, which means when college students have more positive attitude toward the pollution of the marine environment, their behavior tends to be more positive as well. 鐘珮瑄 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 0 zh-TW
