Such a group might not be subject to any political regime, or might sway between regimes for its own interest. The Liouming group might have a core of above-middle classes and build self-sustaining fortress(es), which formed a small cluster, or might be a considerable number of people who had gathered together whileescaping away from the northern barbarians. Therefore, in the discussion about Liouming groups, it is important to examine what and how the group was formed before we explore its political inclination and their leaders' religious belief. In that sense, this paper srudied the political intention and migration of the Liouming group that moved southward in the East Jin Dynasty. Logistics and interactions between local residents and Liouming are examined through the interactions between the Liouming.The Liouming groups, including groups of varieties of classes in the then society are examined through the ideology of the leaders of the Liouming group. That is, in this paper, different points in the connections between political intention, migration as well as the Liouming in numbers of places and hostile territories, all originating from the Liouming group in the region of Huai River, are linked to form multiple routes, where their interrelationships developed into a network. The network supposedly will provide us with an insight into how the Liouming group during that time fought for survival under pressure during the East Jin Dynasty and northern hordes.
