Summary:碩士 === 台南應用科技大學 === 美術系碩士班 === 102 === This research combines the abstract life and modern art and discuss through the art creation and theories to express the contrary on the characterization, imagery hallucinatory and magical fantasy. It also discusses the greedy society values and profane selfish heart nowadays toengage in introspection on modern life. The aims of exposing and hidden creative research are 1. to look on the society, to re-examine all the issues inside the society and to convey people may reveal all the emotions symbols when they face of endless possibilities; 2. second, based on the society issue to explore the distorted values and profane texture in the modern urban society nowadays. To extend the creation, the inner emotions and outer transformation are investigating first in this study; Next is to express the specific interpretation of the works that relate to the external environment; Furthermore, based on the research process, expecting to arouse the error values of “substance worship” and “mercenary” in reality society for others and to think back over the interwoven imagery of the anxiety and spiritual barren that the urbanites have on this modern city. Relating to the theme to the relevant academic theory, the concept of Susanne K. Langer’s “symbols have representational, is created for the concept of artistic, and also perform emotional” as a starting point and then compare with Benedetto Croce’s “Art independence doctrine”. Two concepts derived into the Freud’s theory of “id”, “ego”, and “super-ego” to constructed the subconscious concept that represent the social perception in the current realization from the bottom of conscience on free creation and transform symbols into diverse colors and composition in order to be able to express the level of artistic, the changes in heart, and social values, which makes the abstract conception of life and the integration of modern art to explore the emotional life.
