Recently, discrete sine transform and cosine transform interpolation method can perform better in this topic in the current literature. The discrete sine transform type I on a one-dimensional signal processing have been shown to perform outstanding in our team experiment. While application the discrete sine transform type I and discrete sine transform type II on the image interpolation, there suffers the artificial ripples effect, especially in the significant color shading area. In this thesis, we are dedicated to depress the ripple meanwhile keep the visual resolution. We proposed to apply the combination of the linear interpolation and discrete sine transform for image interpolation. In fixed ratio, the ripple images can be eliminated to keep good resolution.
